Get to the point: Pointed heels and flaits

heels, flats, shoes, steve madden, work, work shoes,

I had to get some shoes for my new internship that starts this week. According to the ever so credible source of eHow, pointed shoes can elongate your legs and is one of the most flattering shoes for women. And I need all the elongating I can get being a whopping 5 feet 3 inches. I got styles two and four, but found tons of other styles I loved online. I especially loved these shoes with trousers or cuffed jeans for the weekends.

How do you wear your pointed shoes?

  1. I can't bring myself to wear pointy shoes somehow, I feel like some of them are beautiful ( I especially love a pair by jeff campbell) but don't suit my personality. I much more of a round toe girl :( Any suggestions for me to get over this mental block?

    1. I'd find a really cheap pair and play around with some different outfits. The ones I got from loft (number 4) would be a good option because they're versatile and cheap. If you end up not liking them you don't feel as bad because they weren't an $80 investment, I'm sure you could find some even cheaper at an off-price department store like Marshalls. I find that pointed flats/heels look best with skinny jeans or trousers, but just play around with different cuts and outfits.
